Dr. Jeff Banyas grew up in Johnson City and attended Johnson City
schools. He graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and
the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, Memphis. He is a member
of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association,
and the First District Dental Society. He was one of the founders and
president of the Johnson City Sports Foundation that kept the Johnson
City Cardinals in the city and gives thousands of dollars annually to
area youth organizations. He currently is very visible serving the community
as a Johnson City City Commissioner. Dr. Banyas and his wife, Jana,
are members of Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church. They have two
sons.
David J. Miranda, D.D.S.
Dr. David Miranda was raised in Johnson City and attended Johnson
City schools. He received his undergraduate degree from the University
of Tennessee, Knoxville and went on to graduate from the University
of Tennessee College of Dentistry, Memphis. He also completed a residency
program at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental
Association, and the First District Dental Society. Dr. Miranda currently
serves as a delegate to the Tennessee Dental Association representing
Washington County. He was a founding member and past president of Keystone
Dental Care, a non-profit agency that provides free dental care for
low-income members of the community. He and his wife, Kelly, have four
children and are members of St. Mary's Church
